“ A client bought me one of the Koi cakes and after that we had to get more. Came in to pick up our ordered cake and decided to stay for a coffee and mini dessert. The staff were very nice and the ambience was nice. Our coffees were made very well and there was a great selection of desserts. The cake was even better for our special occasion- eadible art! Highly recommend their cakes and the place is a very nice oasis in that part of town. ”
“ Tranquil is not a word I’d often use to describe a cafe but visiting Koi can definitely be a Zen experience. Their prices don’t exactly encourage crowds of everyday regulars; instead this is a place I’d choose for a special treat, and with their impeccable dessert presentation and calm, attentive service Koi always provides that. If you appreciate innovative Asian inspired flavour combinations, fabulous texture variations and attention to detail there isn’t a bakery café in Sydney who does better desserts. Visit, and enjoy. ”
“ Walked past this place, and decided to pop in as when you're looking from the outside it looks sleek and modern, almost tucked away so you may pass without realizing. Unless you were walking. Came in on Valentine's Day in the evening and there were a few desserts on display. Understandably as it's a love day and the desserts look absolutely stunning. Ordered a Mont Blanc for my partner and I, the flavour is subtle not very sweet. Which is what we like. I ordered an iced matcha and my partner ordered an iced latte, the iced latte was very well made and the matcha had authentic matcha taste, very balanced flavour. The atmosphere is so relaxed inside you could fall asleep, you can also watch them make the desserts in the day time. Which is pretty cool. The desserts are $18 a piece which is pricey in today's economy but it's okay if you want to spoil yourself every now. They also do small cakes which are $34 we didn't try them so can't comment on the taste. I would recommend trying at least once. :) ”

The atmosphere was very calm and relaxed, and the staff were beyond pleasant. Very cool that you can see into the kitchen from the cafe. ”
“ Not sure why the cake started drooping especially when asked how to care for it and the drive away from the store was only 10mins. I definitely don't think the cream was made correct that day. Overall the cake tasted fine, sweet like any other sponge cake. Bit disappointed in the quality considering its steep price tag. ”

Great place to pick up a fancy treat for a special occasion. The burnt basque cheesecakes are always some of my favourites, especially the tiramisu one or the one with the raspberries and lychee jelly pearls on top. ”
“ Loved the shop decor. the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The cakes looked so beautiful, however the taste was not all there. I don’t think it’s worth the cost for how it tastes. but visually the cakes are well presented. Highly recommend the coffee. ”
